Hello friends and followers, and especially my darling soulmate, Crayonmaniac. When I was last here, I had been in Belgium with Christine for 9 wonderful, fantastic, love-filled, marvelously romantic days, and we were looking for a home for us in Halle. Well, we found one and moved into our beautiful, but very empty apartment in July. The rest of July and much of August was taken up with getting settled in and finding furnishings. But with a few exceptions, it is now a beautiful home and we are incredibly happy there. And it remains wonderful, fantastic, love-filled, marvelously romantic!!!!!!! Love and finding your soulmate is incredibly transforming!!!!!! I love you Christine!!
However, due to Belgian immigration laws, I was required to return to the States for 90 days (I am only allowed to be in Belgium, or anywhere in the EU for that matter, for 90 days out of every 180 days) to work on getting a long-term visa approved. That paperwork is almost completed and will be submitted to the Belgian government very soon. Christine and I are hoping that we will have a very special present under our Christmas tree...my long-term visa! I return to both Belgium and my beloved's arms on December 2. So we will spend our first Christmas together at our home in Halle.
So, for the time being, I am back in the States sorting through the accumulations of 62 years and deciding what can go back to Belgium with me. No fun being unwillingly separated, but this will be the only one, we have decided no more, we will be together, love will find a way!!!
Hopefully I will keep this updated better now. Only 51 days remain until we are together again!!

Back in Exile
Well, I again fell terribly behind on dA, but, I got back to Belgium in December and spent the next wonderfully amazing 90 days with the love of my life, but again the long stay visa did not materialize (that is a story for another journal) and the beautiful Crayonmaniac and I again had to say goodbye at the Brussels airport on March 1st this year, and I returned to another 90 day exile in Alabama. Although I am glad to see friends and family there, my home is Halle, and I ache to be there with my love! I have to remain outside of the European Union until June 1st. The long stay visa is in the system and hopefully it will be granted before
Dramatic Changes
It's been quite a while since I have posted anything to these pages, but the world has been a crazy place for the last two years. First and foremost, is the fact, that without conscious effort to look for someone, I have found my forever love (also a dA artist) and I'm in the process of apartment hunting with her in Halle (south of Bruxelles). So my world has been turned upside down in the past several months and like some others, I am restarting my life from scratch, but the adventure is just beginning and I will return frequently to update my friends and followers.

Good luck with the packing and travelling. I know what's it like. But you'll like it in Belgium. It's peaceful and relaxing. Nice beer and food. No stress, unless you make it so. I'll be in Belgium myself for Christmas this year, so then we might go and see the x-mas marked in Brussels. That's always nice.
Hope you'll both will have great days to come in Belgium for the next years!
